The Causeyville General Store was originally founded as a trading post to the Choctaw. There are two building that sit on the site. Both are listed as National Historic Landmarks.

Causeyville, MS: Here’s a fine example of redneck pride and intellect.  Denver used what he had available and built a unique form of transportation. The paint job is superior and this mean green redneck machine works just fine for trips to the Causeyville General Store.  2008 © Karen E. Wink

At 95, John Nathan is still full of life and stories. I was able to visit him last weekend.  I am very happy I was able to photograph him in full story telling mode. He was telling me his latest deer hunting stories. (He still hunts at 95)  My childhood is full of happy memories [...]

Ag Expo

This past weekend, The Ike Hamilton  Center hosted the 2008 Ag Expo. It was the Expo’s first time at the Ike. Everything raised and grow in Louisiana was featured along side the tools of the farming trade.
