The Tucker Stick ball team prepares for the Choctaw Fair this summer in Mississippi. More photos

Tornadoes and bad weather did not dampen the spirits at the 2008 Pickin & Paddlin Festival in Jackson, Mississippi. Rhonda Richmond, The Freight Hoppers, Mayhem String Band, and The Scramblers all provided the Pickin part of the fundraiser but the paddlin portion was postponed due to the bad weather. Blown away, I was literally blown away by Rhonda Richmond’s voice, stage presence, and musical soul. I can only hope my photographs do her justice. Check her out on myspace and her web page.
